JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Angel Tree Registration comes to an end at The Salvation Army's Center for Worship and Service in Jackson on Friday, but Angel Tree Registration is not yet complete. The Salvation Army Jackson Regional Coordinate serves residents of Madison, Hinds, Rankin, Scott and Copiah County and they want to make sure their Angel Tree program is a reflection of that.

The Salvation Army will open three satellite Angel Tree registration sites in Madison, Copiah and Scott County on October 21, 22, and 23.

  • October 21: Hazlehurst City Hall, 209 S. Extension Street. 10 a.m. til 1 p.m.
  • October 22: Morton City Hall, 97 West First Avenue.  10 a.m. til 1 p.m.
  • October 23: Canton at the St. Paul AME Zion Church Family Life Center, 505 South Union Street.  10 a.m. til 1 p.m.

Parents and guardians who are residents of Madison, Hinds, Rankin, Scott, and Copiah County have the opportunity to register all children ages 0-12. Senior adults ages 60+ may also register. The senior adult age group is a rapidly growing group needing assistance and is often neglected by not only the public but their own families.

For more information and documents required for registration, visit the Salvation Army website or call 601-982-4881
