JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - Jackson Police have charged 43-year-old Alexander Larkin with three counts of aggravated assault for running down three pedestrians in front of the Boys and Girls Club on Sykes Road, in south Jackson.

His victims were 24-year-old Dedontae Jackson, 21-year-old Jermaine Butler and 22-year-old Shaniqua Williams. All three remain hospitalized with their legs broken.

Earlier Wednesday, Larkin and the victims got into some sort of argument at the Sykes Manor Apartments. Police say Larkin spotted the victims later, hit them with his vehicle and fled the scene.

He returned later, with his wife, and was arrested after witnesses recognized him.

The case is still under investigation.
