TERRY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart says that the skeletal remains found in Terry on Saturday could belong to a woman who went missing back in April.

78-year-old Hazel Williams has been missing since April 7. She was last seen at 9 pm at her home on Bozeman Road just outside of Terry.

On Saturday, Grisham-Stewart says she got the call around noon that the remains had been discovered in a wooded cow pasture off Green Drive.

She says the remains were completely skeletal, indicating the body had likely been there for months.

Grisham-Stewart says they are now retrieving dental records for Williams.

We will update you on the situation as soon as we can.
