Man accused of driving stolen car to police headquarters
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
On Tuesday, detectives arrested 27-year-old Joseph Brown for possession of a stolen vehicle.
Police say Brown drove murder suspect Ladarrian McCray to police headquarters for questioning after McCray learned that he was being sought by police.
Brown, who has an extensive criminal history with JPD, also had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. After further investigation, police found that Brown was driving a stolen 2015 Nissan Altima, which he actually drove to police headquarters.
The vehicle was reported stolen out of Madison County.
Brown is out on bond on 4 counts of auto burglary.
