Good evening this is Maggie Wade with a look ahead at some of the stories you'll see tonight at 10 on WLBT.

Parents want answers tonight!  They want to know why a 5th grader had a gun at a Jackson Elementary School and why they were kept in the dark.  Melissa Faith Payne talks with a concerned parent.

Jackson records the 56th murder of 2014.  Detectives are searching for the killer of a 33 year old man found inside his home.

He was accused of murder but released and now he is back in jail.. charged with gunning down a man holding a newborn baby.  Annette Peagler looks into why this accused killer was back on the streets.

Cool mornings give way to sunshine and warmer afternoon temperatures!  Chief Meteorologist Dave Roberts says this weather pattern is expected to continue pass hump day right into the weekend. He'll have your First Alert Forecast.

And Sports Director Chris Hudgison says it will be a Mississippi trio at the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, he'll tell us the latest player to get an invitation, a preview of the game of the week between Clinton and Warren Central, plus Jackson State looks ahead to Saturday's game against big rival Southern.
