KANSAS CITY (WLBT) - A Mississippian has played a big role in the biggest story in baseball. Jarrod Dyson's speed has translated to plenty of playing time for the Kansas City Royals.
The McComb native made his World Series debut on Tuesday. Dyson entered Game 2 in the 6th inning as a defensive substitution. He made a big catch in the top of the 7th to save a run. In his only at-bat, Dyson flew out in the bottom of the 7th.
Kansas City beat San Francisco 7-2 to even up the best-of-seven series. You can watch the entire World Series on FOX 40. Game 3 is Friday night at 7:07pm.
