Vicksburg teen gets 25 years in drive-by shooting death

VICKSBURG, MS (Mississippi News Now) - A Vicksburg teen will spend 25 years in prison for the drive-by shooting death of a high school student in 2013. Seventeen-year-old Romaire Brown pleaded guilty to second degree murder in 17 year old Ke'Marvin Stamps death.

Brown was one of seven suspects initially charged. According to court records, he initially confessed to the killing.

The other five were all sentenced to five years in prison for accessory after the fact to second degree murder.
