JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - On October 23, the Vice/Narcotics Division of the Jackson Police Department, with the assistance of The Mississippi Department of Corrections, executed a search warrant at a home on the 5000 block of Millwood Place.

That's the home of Anthony Leonard Cavett who is presently on house arrest for drug convictions out of Madison County.

MDOC says they observed suspicious activity coming from Cavett's monitoring device.

However, instead of at his home, authorities found Cavett on Greenway Drive.

They say he had 32 grams of Crack Cocaine, 20 Lorcet pills and a weighing scale on his person.

This led to a search of his residence on Millwood Place where $8,287.00 in U.S. Currency was seized.

He is now being charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to distribute.
