RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Tuesday night the finale of a month of activities for breast cancer awareness in women and men was held at the Renaissance at Colony Park in Ridgeland.

WLBT's Pink Night Out included music, food, and support for Fund for the Girls which raises money to provide breast services through Baptist Health Systems.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths among women and supporters came out to help with efforts in early detection and treatment. Those who purchased the 20 dollar tickets for Pink Night Out could also win a nearly two thousand dollar package from Renaissance merchants that included meals, spa services, lodging and much more.

Congratulations to the winner, Tracy Bridges of Brandon.
