Funeral services were held Wednesday for 13-year-old Muhammed Saeed, known to his friends at Lil' Ali. He was killed Monday night during a robbery at his father's convenience store in Canton.

Police continue to hunt for two men wanted in the deadly convenience store robbery. Thirty-four year old Tony Clark and his 19 year old Nephew, Teaonta Clark, are wanted for the fatal shooting at the Fat Boy convenience store.

Leaning on family for support, Fahd Saeed, Muhammad's father who was also shot during the robbery, was released from the hospital to attend his sons funeral Wednesday. Services were held at a mosque in north Jackson.

"He's going through a great deal of pain," said Ahmed Mohamed, a family friend. "I think the physical pain is really nothing at this point, it's really just the emotional pain, the sorrow that he's feeling that he just lost his only child."

Saeed's traditional Muslim funeral, filled with Islamic prayers, was performed by nearly 100 friends and family.

The ceremony was a rare look inside the Muslim culture, a farewell to such a young victim.

"We prayed for the body, for the child, god willing god has mercy on him when he's up in heaven," said Mohamed. "Thirteen years old, many years ahead of him, really looked up to his dad, that's what he was there that day, to be with his dad. Unfortunately this tragic incident happened."

Those close to the Saeed family are struggling to understand why and how a life can be taken so soon.

Patrons of the store left flowers, balloons and teddy bears at the family store Wednesday.  Many say they're still in shock over the tragic event.
