JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Magnolia State “This Is The Way We Praise Him! Showcase” charity fundraiser challenges all gospel choirs and praise teams across the state to become a part of this phenomenal movement that will help permanently place children in need of adoption.

This year, the group's goal is to raise $100,000 to help support the work of Mississippi Families for Kids (MFFK), which strives to ensure the permanency and well-being of children and families through educational development, special training, and community based services.

This tremendous event benefiting MFFK is sponsored by WLBT, We Make It Better Foundation, and 95.5 Hallelujah FM. It will take place Saturday, November 15 at Christ United Methodist Church.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 5 p.m, and will be hosted by WLBT's Maggie Wade and Joy Redmond, and Lance Fuller of 95.5 Hallelujah FM.

Community Ambassadors for this event include the legendary Ms. Lannie Spann-McBride, and Mr. Benjamin Cone, III of Ben Cone & Worship, and Mr. Jerry Mannery, of Mississippi Mass Choir. There will be special guest performances by award winning and nationally acclaimed Ballet Magnificat!
