JULIA'S FORECAST: Warm Week Start, Cold Snap To Come

Good Monday morning!

We're starting off the work/school week, and we've got plenty of changeable weather to talk about. It all begins with a warm-up that we're kicking off today. Although the morning is cold (wake up temps in the 30s) the afternoon will be much milder- expect highs in the low and mid 70s. It will be rather sunny today as well with a southerly breeze.

The balmy air continues through Tuesday, with the morning starting off in the low and mid 50s. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 70s once more. Tuesday's sky will look different though; expect increasing cloud cover and the potential for evening rain showers. Rain will be spotty to scattered through Wednesday morning before clearing.

While skies clear out by Wednesday afternoon, temperatures won't warm up. In fact, Wednesday is the start of our cold snap with afternoon high temperatures only reaching the low and mid 50s. The next several days will remain cold with highs in the 40s and 50s and morning lows in the 20s and 30s. Frost and freezing conditions seem likely during the overnight starting Wednesday night.

While Thursday and Friday will be sunny, clouds and light showers return by the end of the weekend.
