JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Protestors blocked the intersection of State Street and Pearl Street, Tuesday morning, blocking traffic as they stood in the street to make a point.

"Direct action... non-violent direct action... So that our voices may be heard so that we may be seen in unison to let everyone know that everybody's life matters, black life, all life matters," said one of the organizers, Joshua Dedmond.

Chanting through the streets of  downtown Jackson, the small group got their message out loud and clear saying "wake up now, wake up now, Ferguson is everywhere."

They say they're disappointed that Officer Darren Wilson was not indicted. Their goal is to bring attention to what they call a flawed judicial system.

"It doesn't take much to indict a person and an indictment would have been a chance to look at a lot of other evidence that system is broken its evident its broken," said organizer Bryan Eason.

Standing together in unity and supporting Mike Brown's family, the advocates said they won't quiet down until there's change.

"We've all had enough we've all gotten to the point we could not be silent anymore and definitely came out to participate in direct action," said Brittany Gray
