WARREN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The woman arrested for embezzling from the Redwood Elementary PTO , has been arrested again on embezzlement charges. Investigators arrested 34 year old Emily McClurg Wednesday. She is now accused of stealing from the Vicksburg Soccer Organization where she served as Treasurer since 2012.

The investigation into the new charges began a day after her arrest November 21 for embezzling money from the Redwood Elementary PTO.

An internal audit of the Vicksburg Soccer Organization revealed a significant amount of cash was missing. The audit is still in progress, but the affidavit filed to get the arrest warrant says a minimum of $19,000.

McClurg was released after posting a $5,000 dollar bail.

McClurg was free on bond from the PTO embezzlement charge. She was reportedly the treasurer for that organization. Some cash and checks were recovered at the time of her arrest.

Sheriff Pace hopes a complete audit is done in time to present the case to the January session of the Warren County Grand Jury.
