Ole Miss will play in the Peach Bowl

JACKSON (WLBT) - Ole Miss will start and finish the season in Atlanta. The 9-3 Rebels will play 11-1 TCU in the Peach Bowl. 

The game is December 31st at 11:30am. You can watch the Rebels on ESPN. It will be their first meeting with the Horned Frogs since 1983.

Year 3 under Hugh Freeze started with promise. The Rebels won their first seven games, including wins over Alabama and Texas A&M. College Gameday was in Oxford for the Rebels win over the Crimson Tide. Ole Miss suffered back to back losses over LSU and Auburn, and the loss of star wide receiver LaQuan Treadwell. The Rebels rebounded with a Egg Bowl win after getting shutout by the Razorbacks. They finish the regular season ranked #9 in the College Football Playoff Top 25.

Ole Miss will play in the Peach Bowl for the first time since 1971. This will mark the Rebels 36th bowl appearance in program history, dating back to 1936.
