PEARL, MS (Mississippi News Now) - Bond has been set for a Pearl couple accused of making and using counterfeit money. Brittany and Joshua Chancellor waived their preliminary hearing Tuesday and bond was set at 25 thousand dollars each.

Pearl police say Brittany tried to make a purchase at a Pearl store using the fake money. The clerk called police and the two were pulled over on I-20.

Investigators found more than 800 in counterfeit bills inside the couple's car. They also confiscated a printer, construction paper and glue from their home.

The two are charged with forgery, false pretense and Brittany is also charged with possession of paraphernalia.

Their case is now bound over the next grand jury.
