JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - A shooting and carjacking happened on Wednesday morning at the Subway on Clinton Blvd.

Eye witnesses say that multiple shots were fired at around 8:45 am. Surveillance video from the Subway on Clinton Boulevard shows how it unfolded. A

man pulled up in a red Chevy Camaro. Just as he got out, another man ran up with his gun drawn. He forced the driver away from the car. The two go out of the video frame. But Joseph Walker saw it all from a business just a few doors down.

"Heard gunshots and looked over in the Subway parking lot and there was this red car," said Walker. "One guy took off running and then other one just started shooting."

Walker said he heard 4 to 5 shots.

"It's rough, you know," explained Walker. "9:00 in the morning, people out shooting and taking vehicles."

Video showed the man speed away in the Camaro seconds later. The victim went across the street to this Express Lane gas station for help. Cameras catch him removing his shoe when he first walks in.

"He was here in front of me and he said he needed the phone to call 911," described store owner Sukhginber Singh. "I said what happened. He said somebody shot him."

Blood pooled on the floor as the man waits for the ambulance. Jackson Police say he was shot once in the foot. Investigators marked several shell casings in the parking lot and collected the video from both the Subway and the gas station. They are still looking for the suspect who left in the stolen Camaro.
