RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) - They left the court house after their arraignment in May without saying a word to reporters. Two beloved Ridgeland High School softball coaches, Michael and Blair Porter, stand accused of a jaw-dropping crime: having sex with a 15-year-old student on the team.

Ridgeland Police say the Porters had allegedly been sending the girl text messages with nude photos and sexually explicit language. The police report also contains statements by the victim, describing a number of sexual encounters between the three of them around the time of January 2014. They occurred at the Porters' home, and even in the press box at the Ridgeland High School softball field. Language in the document suggests that Blair Porter planned the encounters. Blair was pregnant at the time of this arraignment. She has since delivered the baby.

If the Porters decide to challenge the charges, their trial will take place in early 2015. They each face up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
