A certified nursing assistant at a personal care home in Lucedale has been arrested for allegedly victimizing a patient of the facility.
31-year-old Patricia Harris of Moss Point was arrested on Tuesday at her home. According to Attorney General Jim Hood, she is charged with three counts forgery and one count exploitation of a vulnerable person.
Harris is accused of using the checks and credit cards of a patient in an amount over $35,000 for her own personal gain.
If convicted, Harris faces up to 15 years on each forgery count and 10 years on the exploitation charge for a potential maximum total of 55 years behind bars.
Harris was booked into the George County Detention Center.
