Little Helena White is alive and well tonight thanks to the efforts of several heroes - and tomorrow morning all of those involved with her rescue will be honored.
The event will be held at the Rankin County Board of Supervisors meeting at 9 am.
On December 29, the car White's mother was driving flipped over into a ditch and became submerged in waist deep water.
Helena was underwater for at least 10 minutes before a group of people rolled the car high enough out of the water and used knives to cut the little girl free from her car seat.
She was blue when she was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, but she has made a miraculous recovery and has been released.
Helena and her family are expected to be there to meet everyone who helped save her life.
