JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Friends of Eric Hambrick will gather Friday night at 8 p.m. at the High Street Waffle House for a Candlelight Vigil. The group will share stories, memories and pictures related to Eric and sing some of his favorite songs.

Hambrick was found last Thursday night, badly beaten, outside the High Street Waffle House. He died over the weekend.

After reviewing a surveillance video at the business, police said Hambrick was attacked in the parking lot.

Nineteen-year-old Arkel Coleman and 18-year-old Shrederrick Anderson were arrested and charged with one count each of murder and strong armed Robbery. Police say they confessed to the crime, and are being held without bond.

Hambrick was employed at the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, and spent his free time, singing with local choral groups, and acting with several playhouses.
