Meet Sarah Davidson. She livens up the joint at Lakeland Nursing and Rehab Center in Jackson. In fact, an outgoing personality might be an understatement for Mrs. Davidson.
"Have you always had a good sense of humor? Yes," she replied. "Living on a farm, I guess you have to."
Mrs. Davidson says she's just taking it easy on her birthday, with no particular wishes.
"I can't think of anything," Mrs. Davidson said. Cake? "Well, that's understood."
And she might be prone to share a story or two about her fondest memories.
"I played basketball and I was a good goal maker," she said. "And I didn't shoot until I knew I was going to make a goal."
Beneath all that big personality, this fine lady has a genuine heart of gold and a verse she's lived by for 107 years.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," Mrs. Davidson said, quoting the Golden Rule. "And when I could help someone, I helped them and didn't ask anything in return."
