PELAHATCHIE, MS (Mississippi News Now) -  A SUV crashed into a Pelahatchie restaurant on Wednesday afternoon, sending patrons fleeing, and injuring at least two.

The whole incident captured on the business surveillance cameras.

The video shows the Kia Sorento plowing through a brick wall and window, knocking down tables, pinning one patron under the front bumper.

Witnesses say the driver was meeting her husband at Duke's Steakhouse, when she suffered a medical problem that caused her to crash into the building.

Mayor Knox Ross says, "There were three hispanic gentlemen sitting at that table, fortunately they were able to move out of the way and avoid serious injury.  It's very fortunate just at the right time, it was not as crowded as it normally is and they were able to get out of the way fast enough and really the only person were concerned about with injuries was the lady driving the car."

The driver was injured. One other person in the restaurant was hospitalized with broken ribs.

We're told one patron was trapped between the SUV and a coke machine.

The restaurant owner arrived to the scene, visibly shaken up by the sight of the damaged building.

Kenny Miller a witness says, "It's very fortunate because in that particular area it hit usually the line going to the buffet and it's usually line up all the way for about 8 to 10 to 12 feet long and that table is usually full.  They were very blessed."
