Students learn in floating classrooms on the Mississippi river

You've probably heard about virtual classrooms, but how about floating classrooms?

Students at Winona State University in Minnesota are hitting the open waters of the Mississippi River.

The students will be studying everything from rocks to theater.

They are using the boat called the "Cal Fremling" to do it.

The 1.4 million dollar vessel is named after a former professor.

It was officially christened last summer and students have been taking classes on it all year.
