MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Rankin-Madison District Attorney Michael Guest allowed the media to view surveillance videos of Clayton Kelly and Mark Mayfield's visits to St. Catherine's Village in April of 2015.

Assistant District Attorney Bryan Buckley would not provide copies, but allowed the media to take pictures of the computer screen as they viewed the video.

Mark Mayfield is on the video from an April 12 visit. This was almost a month after his mother's death. All of the video shows him alone. He visited to get his mother's belongings and to give gift cards to the nurses.

On April 20, Easter Sunday, Clayton Kelly is shown pulling in the gate, then passing several buildings and going straight to a parking lot near Rose Cochran's building. He had to give the guard the name of a different patient to gain access to the dementia unit.

The guard is shown opening the door for Kelly, who went straight to the elevator and got off on Mrs. Cochran's floor. Another picture shows him taking a picture of the name plate on the wall next to her room.

We obtained our pictures from Jackson Jambalaya.

Assistant DA Buckley said that Buckley refused a plea bargain that would have allowed him to serve his sentence under house arrest. The offer was made before the case was presented to the grand jury.
