Jake Brigham promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett

PEARL (MississippiBraves.com) - Mississippi Braves RHP Jake Brigham has been promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett from Double-A Mississippi.

Brigham, 27, was 6-3 with a 3.05 ERA in 12 starts for the M-Braves this season. He was 3-0 with a 2.45 mark in five starts during the month of May. The Florida native was named Southern League Pitcher of the Week in back-to-back weeks (May 25-31 & June 1-7) and was selected as a Southern League All-Star.

He took a perfect game into the ninth inning on June 4 at Trustmark Park before surrendering a double down the left field line. In three starts during the month of June, he was 2-1 with a 1.50 ERA. Brigham was signed by the Braves as a free agent on November 20, 2014.

The Mississippi roster has 24 active players, 1 disabled, 1 ML rehab and 1 suspended.
