Miss Mississippi 2015- The Week's Preliminary Winners

In just a few hours Miss Mississippi 2015 will be crowned in Vicksburg. Over the last three days five of the 30 contestants have won top honors in preliminary talent and swimwear.Right after the introductions of the 30 contestants on stage, the announcement of the Top 10 will be made. Each of them with the chance to become the new Miss Mississippi. During preliminary competition the contestants have hoped to make an impression with the judges.

Friday night in the final round of preliminary competition, Hannah Roberts, Miss University of Southern Mississippi won in swimwear. Her second win of the week. She also won in Talent Wednesday night.

Roberts said, "I paid for my first four years of college on my own. I've never had a loan and my first loans will start with Medical School. And thanks to programs like Miss Mississippi I have tuition nearly paid for."

In Talent Michaela Moore, Miss Leaf River Valley was the judges' choice.

Moore told us, "I attend the University of Southern Mississippi. I'm going to be a senior this year and I'm a double major in vocal performance and public relations. And I would really love to be on Broadway."

Thursday night, in talent, Alivia Paden Roberts, Miss Tombigbee was the winner, and Laura Lee Lewis, Miss Riverland in swimwear.

Wednesday in swimwear, Miss Hattiesburg, Ivey Swan had the highest score. All 30 of the contestants have a chance to make the Top 10. Once the names are called those contestants will take the stage at the Vicksburg Convention Center to start all over in Evening Wear, On Stage Question, Swimwear and Talent.
