Thirty-five vendors, most from the Magnolia State, put their wares on display Saturday at the Mississippi Crafts Center.
It's all part of this year's Indoor Craft Show.
Pottery and jewelry made up most of the collection by those vendors. It's also all handmade, and organizers with the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi are doing their part to keep these traditions alive.
"We have classes, we have craft camp, we're trying to pass on these longstanding traditional crafts and contemporary crafts, and it's just something that Mississippi excels at," Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi executive director Nancy Perkins said. "It's what makes Mississippi so cool. We're really talented people."
Perkins says Mississippi is one of a handful of states nationwide with a building dedicated to crafts, and it attracts visitors from all over the world.
