Medicaid Fraud lands Ridgeland woman in jail

Ridgeland woman faces over $3M penalty and prison

A Ridgeland resident is going to prison for Medicaid Fraud. Attorney General Jim Hood announced that 46-year-old woman Theresa Lane Fisher of Ridgeland pleaded guilty to two counts of Medicaid Fraud and one count of Medicare Fraud before Rankin County Circuit Court Judge John Emfinger on Monday.

Plus, A man wanted in the June 25th robbery of the the Walgreens on Canton Mart Road has turned himself in to police.

Tuesday, Dexter McGraw showed up at Jackson Police headquarters in relation to the warrant out for his arrest.

And, the Jackson City Council has passed a hate crimes ordinance requiring training and adequate resources to help local enforcement accurately report and document hate crimes committed in the city.
