Two more arrests in murder of elderly man in Lauderdale County

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two more people have been arrested on charges related to the fatal shooting of a 78-year-old man in Collinsville in Lauderdale County. Five people have now been charged in the case.

Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun tells local media outlets that 48-year-old John Roy King and 45-year-old Tammy Leigh Harrison are charged with accessory after the fact to capital murder. Bond has been set at $25,000 for each. King and Harrison are being held in the Lauderdale County jail.

Calhoun says Delma Lanell Pruett and Coy Lee Depries are each charged with accessory after the fact to capital murder.

Donald Wayne Jones Jr. is charged capital murder and burglary in the death of his father, Donald Wayne Jones, Sr. He is being held without bond.

The elder Jones was found dead at his home on June 22.
