Weather Could Bring Fireworks

Good evening this is Maggie Wade with some of the stories you'll see tonight at 10 on WLBT.

Severe weather is moving into Mississippi bringing high winds, rain, thunder and lightning!  We'll tell you how long the severe weather will last and remember this advice from the National Weather Service, "When Thunder Roars, Move Indoors.

An update tonight on the shooting of a pizza delivery man in Jackson this evening. Police say the gunman wanted to take his van.

New information on the former Flora Police Chief arrested for molesting two children. A separate complaint had been filed against James Alderman just last week.

Storms have already moved into Central Mississippi and some Delta counties. Meteorologist Michael Haynes tells us whether we are in for a long night and possibly a stormy 4th of July Holiday in your First Alert Forecast!

And in Sports, Mike Sands brings us the latest on Ole Miss star football player Laremy Tunsil. NCAA reps apparently talked with his stepfather today about his allegations of rules violations, and a large crowd in Biloxi to watch the Shuckers and MBraves!
