JULIA'S FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Wednesday

AM Commute: Haze and low clouds have been fairly typical during our morning drive, and today's commute shouldn't be much different. Expect temperatures mainly in the 70s with the thermometer getting closer to 80° by the 9:00 hour. The air is feeling humid already.

Afternoon: Heat and humidity are back on again today! The high hits near the mid 90s, but the heat index gets all the way up to 105°. Stay cool! Similarly to yesterday a few showers and t-storms are a possibility in the late afternoon and evening. It's possible a couple of these storms could have heavy rain and gusty winds. Not everyone will have to deal with this though.

Rest of the Week: More heat and more mugginess are in store! Every day will feel like 100-105° even though the thermometer should top out in the mid 90s. Spotty rain and thunder are possible each day from now through the weekend, but high pressure shifting over us should help to keep this very limited. As of now it looks like Saturday and Sunday will be mainly dry, but oppressively hot and humid. Keep cool!
