One man killed, off duty officer arrested in connection

BELZONI, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Belzoni police need your help finding a man accused in a fatal shooting,which landed an off duty Greenville Police officer behind bars.
Police Chief Mickey Foxworth tells us 40-year-old Tahita Banks died of a gunshot wound to the head Thursday night.
It happened at the intersection of 3rd Street and McKinley Alley.
According to investigators, Banks and 26-year-old Fred Hogan of Tchula argued then Hogan pulled a gun.
Chief Foxworth said off duty Greenville Police Officer Arsenio Robinson arrived with Hogan at a barbeque where several people were gathered when the shooting occurred.
Witnesses told police Robinson tossed his keys to Hogan who left the scene.
Robinson is charged with accessory after the fact.
 Hogan is described as a black male, 5'11", weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen driving a Charcoal Gray 4 door Ford Fusion with Humphreys County license plate HMC 711.
