MAGNOLIA, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has now canceled the Amber Alert issued earlier today.

They say the child has been recovered and two suspects are in custody.

The Mississippi Bureau issued the Alert for eight-year-old Broden Liam Bilbo before noon on Wednesday.

Before that the 8-year-old was last seen Sunday, July 12, about 1:30 p.m., at the Exxon station at the intersection of Highways 51 & 48, in Magnolia, Mississippi.

Officials say he was accompanied by 44-year-old Crystal Elizabeth Simpson, his mother, and Blakeley Danielle Cain, who is, according to a family member, the missing boy's half sister.

Both Crystal and Blakely were wanted for Kidnapping.

The Bilbo family sent us the following statement.

Our family would first like to thank God for wrapping His loving arms around Broden and protecting him through this terrifying time.  We would also like to thank every law enforcement member on every level across our great state of Mississippi, especially the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Mississippi Highway Patrol, the police departments of Magnolia and Hattiesburg, and the Forrest County Sheriff's Department- they all have done a fantastic job on this case, and we can't thank them enough for their time and dedication.  We want to thank our family and friends for constant prayers and shares of information via Facebook and other social media outlets.

My brother Burney has physical custody of his 8-year-old son, Broden.  Broden's mother, Crystal, has visitation rights of every other weekend, and telephone visitation each night, should she choose to exercise those rights.  Crystal repeatedly chose not to exercise her visitation rights.  Sunday morning was the second time Broden had seen his mother in 2015.  Sunday morning, July 12, Crystal and her daughter, Blakeley, showed up in Magnolia unannounced, and took off with Broden from church.

Burney Bilbo is extremely involved in the Methodist Church in Magnolia, MS, and he is a wonderful Christian man and father- Burney has the biggest heart of anyone I know.  We are extremely thankful Broden is safe, and that he is back with his father where he belongs.

Crystal and Blakeley are currently in custody in Hattiesburg.  Detective Davis with the Magnolia Police Department will be transporting Crystal and Blakeley to the Pike County jail to be held until arraignment.
