Vicksburg man charged with firing into an occupied vehicle

Vicksburg Police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left several bullet holes in a vehicle, but no injuries.

The complainants say  they were driving north on Mission 66 when another vehicle approached. After an exchange of words, the passengers say they were shot at and their vehicle was struck at least three times by bullets from a large caliber weapon.

Wednesday morning, Teremiah Cox was arrested at his residence on a felony warrant for shooting into an occupied vehicle. Cox is being held in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility pending his initial appearance July 17.
