Owner of car repair shop critical after shoot out with customer

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Gunfire after a dispute over a car repair bill; it happened at Ketra's Auto Shop on Gordon Street in Jackson.

JPD Officer Colendula Green told 3 On Your Side that 36-year-old Ade Olagbegi was the angry customer.

Officer Green said,

"He had a discrepancy about a payment on his vehicle," said Officer Green. "Once that discrepancy took place, it was a physical altercation which resulted in the owner and also the alleged suspect shot."

Shop owner, 42-year-old Ketra Johnson was shot in the head. 36-year-old Ade Olagbegi was shot once in both legs.

Both are at UMMC where Johnson is in critical condition.

Officer Green says charges are pending and the vehicle has been recovered.
