Pearl Police have arrested 18-year-old Lonnie Orion Caine and charged him with felony malicious mischief. He's charged with spray painting two vehicles with markings that included lightning bolts, swastikas and other language.

This occurred July 9 and the damage to a 2013 Cadillac and a 2010 Saturn SUV has been estimated at $20,000. The victim is the mother of Caine's ex-girlfriend.

A third vehicle, a 2014 Honda Accord, was spray painted at the same time, but damage was limited to the hood area. The owner of this vehicle has no relationship to Caine.

Cain was arrested July 15 and is being held in the Rankin County Jail. His bond is $150,000 and he has a preliminary court date of July 21.

Ridgeland police say Caine vandalized six cars at the Pear Orchard apartments the same night.

Lieutenant Brian Myers of the Ridgeland Police Department says,
"When you do that to a car it's gonna take a lot of money to get it straightened out.  He spray painted windows wheels and the bodies, anything he wanted."

Several of the victims said they were able to remove the paint using paint thinner.

Investigators do not believe this was a hate crime.
