JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Officers with the Jackson Police Vice and Narcotics Unit responded to a tip Thursday night on the location of one of the inmates who escaped from the Hinds County Detention Center. This is a 3 On Your Side Exclusive.

JPD spokeswoman, Officer Colendula Green tells us investigators received a tip that drugs were being sold at 215 Carmel Avenue and that one of the two escapees was possibly at a house at that location.

The search continues for 25 year old Montreal Anderson and 23 year old John Gregory Rollins. They escaped early Monday morning from the Hinds County Detention Center along with 18 year old Kevin Holmes and 19 year old Jermaine Wilson. Wilson and Holmes are back in custody.

Green says the homeowner on Carmel Avenue allowed officers to search the residence. A small amount of marijuana was found. 35 year old Broderick Howard was charged with possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.  No escapee was found at the location.
