JULIA'S FORECAST: The chance for rain returns

Julia Weiden's First Alert Tuesday Forecast

**A Heat Advisory remains in effect for many counties today. Keep cool indoors during the peak afternoon hours and keep outdoor activity limited to the early morning and evening hours! Temperatures will feel like 105-110°.**

AM Commute: The day starts off hazy and muggy with temperatures in the upper 70s. The sun rises at 6:08 AM. By the time you step into the office at 9:00, the temperature will be in the mid 80s.

This Afternoon: Expect more scorching temperatures. Highs reach the upper 90s with a heat index as hot as 110°. Clouds try to build up, but only very few showers/storms will materialize. Stay safe in today's heat!

Tonight: The sun sets at 8:05 PM and the temperatures begin dropping through the 80s from there. Before daybreak tomorrow the temperature will be in the mid and upper 70s.

Any Relief: None yet to speak of. The threat for rain and thunder does seem to increase slightly on Wednesday and Thursday, and any passing shower will be temporarily helpful, but overall we're in this hot and humid pattern for quite some time.
