JULIA'S FORECAST: Any weekend rain?

Julia Weiden's First Alert FRIDAY Forecast

**A Heat Advisory is in effect for the Delta today until 7:00 PM. This is where temps will feel as hot as 110.**

AM Commute: Nothing to slow you down for the last drive in of the work week! Sun comes up at 6:09 AM, and you'll want sunglasses if you're heading eastward to avoid glare. Temps are in the upper 70s and low 80s during prime commute hours. We'll be near 85 by 9:00 AM.

This Afternoon: There's an indication that we could see some spotty showers developing in the afternoon and evening, but it doesn't look very impressive. Expect most of the day to feature a mix of sun and clouds. Highs hit the mid and upper 90s. Humidity is high, but it's just below the threshold needed to push us into Heat Advisory criteria. Most of central MS will feel like 100-105 today.

Tonight: Sun goes down at 8:04 PM. It takes a long time to cool. If you're out for supper, temps will still be in the low 90s at 7 PM. We'll fall into the low 80s by 10 PM and bottom out in the mid and upper 70s by dawn Saturday.

Weekend: Heat and humidity continue! There's not much change happening here. Highs are in the mid and upper 90s with abundant sunshine. Stay safe and cool!
