Julia Weiden's First Alert Wednesday Forecast
AM Commute: The air still has a muggy feel to it and the temperatures are in the 70s. The sun is up at 6:22 AM, and there will be plenty of it today! Grab your sunglasses before you go out the door. By 9AM the temps will be in the low 80s.
This Afternoon: No triple digit temperatures to talk about today! Highs are in the mid 90s and the humidity is getting lower, meaning that it's actually going to feel like mid 90s. While that's still hot, it's about 15 degrees cooler than we've been feeling recently. Skies are mainly sunny all day today.
Tonight: The Perseid Meteor Shower is at its peak! The best time to watch is during the 3-5 AM time frame while it's still dark out (sun comes up at 6:23 AM). The temperatures will be in the upper 60s and low 70s, which is actually a little cooler than we've been during our nighttime hours recently. Skies are mainly clear. Keep an eye out for one meteor per minute! No binoculars or telescopes necessary, just lay back and enjoy the show.
Rest of the Week: The humidity will be on the low end for Thursday and Friday with mostly sunny skies. Highs are in the low to mid 90s. We'll notice moisture creeping back up over the weekend with a spotty shower possible.
