JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police are working another armed robbery case.

The latest one happened around 11 a.m. on Monday at the Metro P.C.S. Wireless Store on Bailey Avenue.

Police say there were three customers and two employees inside the business when the robbery took place.

"Next thing I know, I turn around and dude ran up in the store, had a gun, told everyone get down on the floor," said customer Taronta Williams. "He jumped the counter, got money then ran back around and told everyone stay down. He just left. I was  just trying to grab on my son and I wasn't worried about anything else but him. He was with me."

Officers spent part of the afternoon searching the nearby neighborhood for the single gunman who escaped on foot.

Other witnesses say they saw the robber running behind the business.

No one was injured, and no shots were fired.
