Alcorn State University and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University make history in the inaugural Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl.

The Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl is a new Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) postseason championship-style game between the MEAC and SWAC division champions.

The Celebration Bowl, owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN, will be televised live from the Georgia Dome at noon, Dec. 19 on ABC.

Fans will be treated to an entire day full of pre and postgame activities at the Georgia Dome. ESPN is working with the volunteer organization 100 Black Men of Atlanta to manage these events.

Early birds can visit the Fan Fest, a tailgate party organized by the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, followed by ESPN SportsCenter on the Road and WSB Channel 2 (ABC) pregame special.

After the game, metro Atlanta’s top high school bands, dance teams and drumlines will be featured in a 5th Quarter Championship Battle of the Bands, including special performances by the North Carolina A&T State “Blue & Gold Marching Machine” and the Alcorn State University “Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite.”
