Madison family arrested after drugs found in home

Bond was set Friday evening for a father and son, and their friend, who are in jail facing drug charges.

Adam Byrd Hillman IV, and his father Adam Hillman made their initial appearance before Judge Dale Danks.

Danks set Adam Byrd Hillman's bond at $500,000, and his fathers bond at $25,000.

On Thursday night, narcotics Investigators with the Madison Police Department finished a several month investigation into the distribution of marijuana from a home in Annandale in Madison.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the home, located at 179 Whisper Lake Blvd, and found several containers of marijuana in the bedroom of 20-year-old Adam Byrd Hillman IV. 

Marijuana and paraphernalia were found in the bedroom of 55-year-old Adam Hillman.

They also found $2,000 cash that was seized as a result of the warrant. 

Both were taken into custody and transported from the scene, along with 23-year-old Katherine Baker who also lived at the home.

Adam Hillman's wife was not charged in connection with the investigation and was allowed to remain at the home to care for their 16-year-old special needs child.
