Sunday kicks off with a visit from Jack Frost, again! Not only do we have frost all across central Mississippi, it's cold! Temperatures will hang out in the upper 20s and low 30s before climbing to the mid 60s. If you're heading out the door before 8:30, you'll want to plan for extra time to get the frost off your car.
Expect lots of sunshine today with afternoon highs in in the mid 60s. That's a bit warmer than Saturday and that's only the beginning of another warming trend. As for the next chance of rain, that could arrive as early as 5-6a on Monday morning. Clouds will start moving in along the Mississippi River after sunset.
We're in for an unsettled weather pattern Christmas Week. Scattered showers along with a few storms arrive Monday and will continue through at least mid week, and possibly longer. We could have a few strong to severe storms on our hands on Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll continue to fine tune the forecast this weekend in advance of the system. Will it rain on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? As of now we'll keep with a threat showers under cloudy skies.
