JULIA'S FORECAST: Warm and wet Christmas week

Julia Weiden's Monday Forecast

AM Commute: It's cloudy and damp with some light sprinkles this morning. Make sure you have an umbrella with you- rain will become more intense this afternoon! Morning temperatures are in the 50s and low 60s, which is very mild for this time of year. The sun is up at 6:57 AM.

This Afternoon: As mentioned, rain and even thunderstorms become more widespread this afternoon. Up to an inch of rain is possible by the day's end. Highs are in the mid and upper 60s.

Next Few Days: We're in a warm and damp pattern as temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday nudge up into the mid and upper 70s. Tuesday looks to be mostly cloudy with just a few afternoon showers, but Wednesday will be rainy and stormy through the day.

Christmas Eve & Day: The rain chances are slightly lower both days, but we'll likely see a passing shower or two. Temperatures will be warm both days in the mid and upper 70s. Christmas Day could be close to the record of 80, set back in 1980.
