Julia Weiden's Wednesday Forecast
**Severe Weather is Possible Today!**
Where: Everywhere in Mississippi has the threat for seeing severe weather today. The highest threat for damaging severe storms is in the Delta and northwestern Mississippi. From there, the next greatest threat is along and north of the I-20 corridor. Farther south has a slightly lesser threat of severe weather comparatively, but it is still a high enough threat to be on alert today.
When: We'll likely have a lull in rain and storms during the late morning. Storms pick back up during the afternoon hours, which is when the threat for severe storms is most likely. Storms will continue in rounds through the evening and wind down tonight.
Other Important Info: It's going to be a warm and gusty day even when storms are not raining over you. Winds could be as high as 30 mph out of the south/southwest. Temperatures will be as high as the upper 70s!
Christmas Eve & Day: Get ready for two more warm and stormy days. The severe weather threat is low for both days, but rain and storms are in the forecast. Temperatures will be near a record 80. Rain is likely especially during the first half of Christmas day.
