Monday evening hour by hour forecast Monday evening hour by hour forecast
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

As predicted, we woke up Monday morning to cold weather! The low this morning was 25° in Jackson and 27° in Vicksburg, Natchez and McComb. Even though the sun is out on this Monday afternoon, temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 40s. The normal high is 56° and the normal low is 35°. This below average air mass will stay around through the morning before warming up by Tuesday afternoon.

Monday night we can expect clear to mostly clear skies. Temperatures will tumble to the mid to upper 20s again on Tuesday morning. We're forecasting another deep freeze tonight with frost expected by sunrise. Sunrise is at 7:02 A.M. Tuesday afternoon we'll see temperatures climb into the mid 50s under partly cloudy skies.

The next chance of rain arrives by the end of the week. At this time, we're not expecting a complete wash out but we do expect to see scattered showers. We'll continue to fine tune the forecast in the coming days.
