5 planets visible for some Wednesday morning

Too cloudy for viewing Wednesday morning Too cloudy for viewing Wednesday morning
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Too many clouds will be around central Mississippi for a chance to see five planets at one time on Wednesday morning. A few of us may see a small opportunity for clearing skies on Wednesday morning but as of now, the chance isn't looking all that great. Good news, we'll have a chance to see them Saturday and Sunday morning.

Stargazers get ready to see Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter before dawn on Saturday. This will be the first day we won't have any clouds to get in the way of the view! Saturday's pre-dawn forecast is calling for temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s under clear skies! Perfect!

The last time we were able to see five planets at the times time happened more than a decade ago. Can't make the viewing on Saturday, no worries! The said planets can be seen for about another month given a clear sky forecast! Look for Mercury near the horizon and in line with Venus and Saturn. Using the moon will help you find the planets in the sky! Use the images as a guide to help you find them in the sky. Find the moon and then start gazing away!
