JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

On Saturday, Jackson Police officers responded to Springfield Circle after a report of an armed carjacking.

Police say that the victim was getting out of her 2003 Chevy Tahoe when she was approached by two men, one of them armed, demanding the keys to the SUV.

Police have identified the suspects as 19-year-old Gregory Hines and 18-year-old Deonta Paige.

They have been charged with armed carjacking and booked into the city jail. They are awaiting an initial court appearance.
